Training

On-Site Training at Installation
At MTS Nano Instruments, we believe that one of the best ways to ensure adequate training is to identify those individuals who would benefit most from receiving the information.
As part of the pre-installation planning process, we recommend that our customers identify who will be using the instrument and arrange for these individuals to attend the training session that our installation technician will conduct as a part of the installation process.
The training session covers all of the standard operating procedures that are called for in using your nanomechanical testing system. The scope of the session includes topics such as: performing a tip calibration using our Analyst™ software, the changing of indenter tips, and overall proper usage of the instrumentation.
Advanced Software Training
In addition to training offered on-site during the installation process, we also offer training on the use of our TestWorks® 4 Explorer Level software at our Research & Development center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
This two-day course covers the essential elements of using TestWorks to: modify existing test methods for a new purpose, define various system control parameters, and/or control experiment progress and outcomes.
